Topic: Database

Hi,

I think it would be useful to get a list of people/works that use or used OOFem. In particular, a list of papers that made use of OOFem, and perhaps some links to URLs showing work with OOFem.

Thanks

Re: Database

Hi sas,

This is a nice idea and I fully agree with you. However, I keep almost no track about people using oofem and about the work they have done with the help of oofem. But in general, I will be very happy to create such a list.
So I would like to encourage everyone who is happy user and have possibly done some nice work with oofem, please let me know, I will greatly appreciate this and If you agree, I will mention you in special page devoted to oofem users and applications.
I will post this also in the announcement section.

Thanks,
Borek

Re: Database

It will serve many purposes, but in particular, in forming a community of users who can interact with each other. Moreover, there will (likely) be more people encouraged to use it when they know that similar work has already been tested, if that is the case.
