Topic: Control file for bond two objects together

Hi,

I am a new user.

I was wondering how to use unv2oofem and how to write control file to bond to 3d objects together? I used salome to generate two beams and contacted each other. I know I might use "rigidarmnode" to do this bonding but how to write control file ? Thanks.

Hi,
it is difficult for me to understand what you actually want to model. Could you describe it in more detail or perhaps attach a figure with simple drawing illustrating the problem.

Hi Borek,

I would like to simulate a rail tie and rail track model which I would like to bond(glue) rail tracks on the rail ties. The figure shows I used salome to set up a model. I am enquiring how to bond(glue) ties and tracks together and how to write control file for doing this? Thanks.
