Purpose of this page is to show how simple examples of fresh concrete casting simulations can be done using OOFEM. Examples of input files with an appropriate description can be found here.

• V-funnel simulation

V-funnel problem is one of the first problem, that was modeled. In it's easiest form is modeled in 2D. The geometry is shown at figure below.

V-funnel test is focused on boundary condition influence.

• Slump flow test (Abrams cone)

Slump flow test is a typical test for verifying the effect of yield stress. Here, it is modeled as an axisymmetric problem and Abrams cone geometry was considered (on the pic. below)
